LTT is pleased to announce that Kevin Reed will lead our Girls LTT 7th Grade Select Team.  The goal of the LTT Select team will be to successfully compete on a regional and national level and to set the standard for this age group.

Kevin will take over as Head Coach of Sherando High School this winter after 8 years at Loudoun County High School where they won the 2009 State Championship, 2 Regional Championships, 3 Dulles District Season Championships, and 3 Dulles District Tournament Championships.  He was recognized as the District, Region, and State Coach of Year.  He was also named the Washington Post All-Extra Coach of Year and Game Day Magazine Coach of Year.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the LTT U12 Girls Select team is to compete at the highest level in girl’s basketball and to develop athletes who plan to continue the sport in high school and college. We encourage a strong work ethic as well as dedication to the team and the sport. We value long-term results and aim to help our players become future leaders and productive citizens. We help our players develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed on the court and in life. Our coaches serve as mentors, leaders, and motivators; they possess integrity and are loyal to the team. We impart values consistent with hard work, good sportsmanship, and healthy competition. We lead by example. Our players take pride in their achievements, support each other, and aim to become role models for younger players in the community. The LTT U12 Girls Select team adheres to the official team guidelines as established by Loudoun Triple Threat. 

Openings:

 The LTT 7^th Grade/U12 Girls Select team is looking for advanced players to fill two openings.  Ideal candidates will have played one more previous seasons of AAU basketball an/or travel league in their community.  They should possess advanced fundamental basketball skills and good understanding of the sport.  Primary interest is for post players.  Practices will be conducted in Loudoun County and Sherando HS.  Parents of interested players should contact Coach Kevin Reed at Kevin.Reed@lcps.org for additional information or fill out a Player Interest Form.
