LTT Gold Player Recognized
Congratulations to Michael Anderson of the LTT 10th Grade Gold team and Loudoun County High School, for making the Bigshots U16 All Tournament team at the Bigshots Baltimore Final Four event April 2-3 where he lead the team to a 3rd place finish. Michael was again honorable mention in the Big Shots DC Assault 1 Tournament where he lead the team again to a 3rd place finish in the top bracket (36 teams participating).
LTT 10th Gold Maryland Invitational Champions June 10-12 2011
Coaches:Steve Metz, Patrick Behan and Mike Spencer The 16U Select Team is comprised of and seeking 10th graders whose goal is to play college basketball.
Steve Metz is the Head Coach - Steve was a standout Linebacker at the University of Maryland where he also played baseball. He was a standout athlete in basketball, football and baseball for his high school team in Western Maryland and was a starter on three state championship teams. Steve is also co-founder and Treasurer of Loudoun Triple Threat.
Patrick Behan is the Assitant Coach - Patrick played Division I College Basketball at Bucknell and also played professionally overseas. He played high school basketball at Notre Dame Academy is currently serving as Varsity Assistant Coach at Loudoun County High School. This is the Charter Loudoun Triple Threat Team that has made 5 trips to Nationals with top 20 finishes in 4 of the 5 trips. The Team Medaled in Little Rock, Ark in 2010 with a 12th place finish last year securing an automatic bid to Nationals in 2011 at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fl. We field multiple teams in this age group and seek players for both teams including potential dual roster situations depending on team needs.

Player Wins VA State Free Throw Championship
Alex Fabean-Scotch won the 13-year old Virginia State Throw Championship in Richmond on March 28, 2009. Alex hit 23 out of 25 shots.See his winning photo in the Gallery.
VA Bulls Streaks Shootout Champions The 14U Gold Team won the Va Bulls Streaks Shootout March 22,2009. They won their pool with a victory over Broadway and thrilling overtime play with the Valley Basketball Club (VBC). After a convincing win in Semi-Final over the Tar Heels from Shenandoah, the Gold defeated CCBC from Williamsburg to take the Tournament Championship, which is their 2nd in this year's campaign.
Potomac Valley Winter League Runners Up
The U14 Gold Team completed the Potomac Valley Winter League with a 9-2 record.They competed with teams from DC and Maryland, defeating the Shabach Warriors in the Quarter Finals and the WHC Head in the Semi-Finals.The finals was a close match up with the DC Heat that was tied 42-42 with 0.6 seconds to go.DC Heat inbounded and hit a 3 point shot to win at the buzzer.Congratulations to both teams on a hard fought finals.
14U Gold Team Assists with Joe Harrington CLBL Coach Clinic on Sunday November 9th
Joe Harrington, University of Maryland Assistant Coach, put on a Coaches' Clinic for 150 CLBL Travel and House League Coaches using the LTT 14U Gold Team to demonstrate proper techniques and drills for developing players. Joe has also served as Head Coach of Colorado, Long Beach State, and George Mason - where he was recognized as the CAA Coach of the Year. Joe also served as Assistant Coach for the NBA Toronto Raptors. It was a great experience for our players to have the opportunity to work with Joe and to give back to one of the County Leagues serving basketball players in our area.
Cardinal Christmas Tournament Runners Up!
After going 3-0 in pool play, defeating Ivey23, Fairfax Stars and Winchester Basketball, 14U Gold lost to Ivey23 in the rematch in the Finals to finish 2nd place.
Cardinal Thanksgiving Tournament Champs!
After completing the Cardinal Fall League with a 5-1 record, the 14U Gold Team won their opening Tournament at Mount Vernon High School in Alexandria November 23rd, defeating Cardinal-Stukes in the Final. This is the 3rd time in 4 years they have won their first tournament! Congratulations to Coaches Metz and Spencer and to all the players who participated in this tournament - Sury, Selwyn, Josh, Taylor, Stephen, Alex, Ben, Adrien, AJ, Jimmy and Quan.

The 14U Gold Team finished 12th in Division 1 competition at the YBOA National Tournament in Orlando, Florida!This was the team’s 3rd consecutive trip to the YBOA National Tournament and their 2nd consecutive year to make the Sweet 16.Following are some of the additional accomplishments at the tournament.

May 30-June 1st - Earned YBOA Division 1 Bid by defeating the Rockets, Virigina Spartans, and the Nova Suns to finish 3rd Place in the YBOA State Tournament in Alexandria - Sury Avasarala All Tournament Player

May 17-18th - Semi-Finalist in YBOA Eastern Regional Tourney - AJ Metz All Tournament Player
May 10-11th - Battle of Balls Bluff Tournament Champions - Went 4-0 defeating Winchester Basketball (finished 6th in Va D2 State) and Hoops Magic in the final two hard fought games to win the first annual 'Battle of Balls Bluff' Tournament in Leesburg Va hosted by LTT. Adrien Stinger and Devin Ross recognized as 'All Tournament Team' players.
May 3-4th - Alexandria YBOA State Qualifier Tournament Champions - defeated Team Virginia and Virginia Spartans, who had each won an earliear YBOA State Qualifying tournament. AJ Metz and Stephen Sheppard recognized on the All Tournament team.
April 19-20th - Finished 3rd place in Roanoke YBOA State Qualifier - AJ Metz All Tournament Team.
March 29-30th - Participated in Mt Royal AAU Super Regional Tournament and earned a bid to AAU Division 2 National Tournament to be held June 29th - July 6th.
March 15/16th - YBOA State Qualifier in Alexandria - TOURNAMENT RUNNERS UP !! The team went 3-1 including a victory over the DC Heat in pool play, before falling to the DC Heat in a re-match in the final. Our Gold team was the highest finishing Virginia Team and earned the maximum qualifying points (25) for the State Tournament. Congratulations to Stephen Sheppard who made the all tournament team, joining AJ and Sury who have both earned that distinction in previous tournaments.
February 2nd/3rd - TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS of the 9th ANNUAL BROADWAY BASH! The team won all four games to take the championship in it's first Tournament of the season! This is the third season in a row that this group has won it's first Tournament.
The charter Loudoun Triple Threat Team had a successful Fall U13 Season (5-3)playing in the Cardinal Fall League at Mount Vernon High School and the Fairfax Stars Winter League compiling an 11-6 record for fall and winter seasons.

The 12U Loudoun Triple Threat Team finished 14th at the YBOA National Tournament in Orlando, Florida by defeating the Ruff Riders from Prince Georges County, MD. The Dreammakers defeated the Triple Threat Team in the Sweet 16 and went on to finish 3rd in the Nation. Following are highlights from the tournament.

Competed with teams from Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Georgia. Highest finish for a Virginia Team in the Regional Tournament resulted in an automatic National bid.
